Tea Recipes

Tropical Tea

Iced tea becomes a tropical orange treat when it’s mixed with fruity flavor.

Prep Time:10 min

Start to Finish:10 min


4 1/2 cups water

4 cups iced black tea

1 can (12 ounces) frozen pineapple-orange juice concentrate, thawed

Fresh mint leaf, if desired.


1. Mix water, iced tea and juice concentrate in large pitcher.

2. Serve over ice. Garnish with mint.

Orange-Ginger Green Tea Latte

Treat for two? Cozy up to a warm tea latte made with soymilk.

Prep Time:10 min

Start to Finish:15 min

cups plain or vanilla soymilk


2

tablespoons honey


5

bags green tea


1

piece (2 x 4 inch) orange peel


¼

teaspoon ground ginger





1. In 1-quart saucepan, heat soymilk and honey just to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring frequently; remove from heat. Add tea bags, orange peel and ginger to soymilk mixture; stir to blend.


2. Push tea bags into soymilk mixture; let stand 5 minutes. Discard tea bags and orange peel. Strain soymilk mixture before serving..

Lemonade Tea

Half lemonade and half iced tea, this beverage is often called an “Arnold Palmer”.


Prep Time:10 min

Start to Finish:10 min


2 cans (12 ounces each) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed

3 quarts iced tea

Fresh mint sprig, if desired

1. Make lemonade as directed on can, using punch bowl or large container. Stir in tea.

2. Serve over ice. Garnish with mint.

Cranberry-Raspberry Tea

You may want to make a double recipe of this iced tea punch. It goes quickly!

cups brewed tea, chilled

4

cups cranberry-raspberry drink, chilled


Fresh mint sprig, if desired


1.

Mix tea and cranberry-raspberry drink.

Serve over ice.

Garnish with mint.
